Program Objective
The objective of the program is to support applied research and/or experimental development projects aimed at developing national/international new products, processes, methods, or models that meet the needs of our country, reduce technological dependence on foreign sources, and/or increase Türkiye’s global competitiveness.

Project Duration
The maximum project duration is 18 months.
Project Budget
For the year 2016, the maximum support limit for each project is 200,000 TL, excluding scholarships, the Project Incentive Bonus (PTİ), institutional share, and expenses related to foreign researchers.
The budget requested for machinery and equipment must be proportionate to the total project budget.
Projects aimed at establishing infrastructure are not supported.

Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights
The project coordinator is responsible for investigating whether the proposed project is subject to any third-party intellectual or industrial property rights before submitting the proposal and must present the results of this investigation.
If the proposed project involves third-party intellectual or industrial property rights:
- (a) The project coordinator must guarantee that the project does not infringe on these rights and submit any relevant agreements such as licenses, transfers, etc., if applicable.
- (b) If TÜBİTAK is exposed to any legal claims, administrative penalties, or warnings due to alleged infringement of third-party intellectual or industrial property rights, the project coordinator is obligated to intervene on behalf of TÜBİTAK and assume full responsibility.
Should TÜBİTAK incur any legal consequences despite this, it reserves the right to recourse to the project coordinator.
In cases where infringement is identified due to the fault or negligence of the project coordinator, the provisions of the relevant legislation, the Regulation, and the Administrative and Financial Principles for Research Projects shall apply.
