In evaluations, the research-oriented nature of the projects, their contribution to enhancing the university’s research activities, and compliance with the support principles of the Scientific Research Projects Commission are taken into consideration.

The maximum support period for research projects is 36 months.

All projects, excluding infrastructure projects, are required to result in a publication. Project coordinators who have not published a scientifically valuable book or book chapter, or who have not authored articles in scientific journals indexed by international databases, will not be eligible to submit new project proposals.

The project coordinator is required to include the statement “This project was supported by Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University”, along with the project number, in all written materials, articles, and papers presented related to the project data.

When preparing the project proposal, it is necessary to:

• Provide detailed justifications for the amounts specified in all expenditure items,

• Attach pro forma invoices for planned purchases, and

• Ensure that the requested budget includes Value Added Tax (VAT).
